Week 4

What up people!!!

Sorry I haven't updated.

As you can see I'm in Week 4 already like most of us, and I am really enjoying it. The only thing i don't have for week 4 is the Ball. I should be buying one soon since I think it still going to be use in weeks ahead.

Since I don't have the ball I did regular push ups. I was able to do 30 Push ups in 30 Sec's which I was really surprise when I had finish. Didn't think I was able to do that many. When I started 3 weeks ago I could barely do 15 and now I can do double that much, really happy about that. Really liked how I felt on Monday after I had finish, I'm looking towards the same feeling today. My arms where feeling awesome, it really gets me pumped.

I gotta say though I kinda been slacking on my HIIT. On Sunday I didn't run even though I did some abs not a full routine either. And last night I did run but I kept a steady pace for 16 mins.

I was thinking if I should alternate between HIIT and just running at a steady Pace. For example on Sundays and Thursday I would do regular HIIT and on Tuesday I would just do a steady pace for as long as i can go? Also next week I would be adding an extra day of running which I would think i would added on Monday or maybe on Friday after my resistant training. I would think Friday would be better since my day "off" is on Saturday.

Well looking forward to todays workout!! Hope everyone else is doing good..

Week 3

What up people,

Sorry I haven't update since the end of last week. I went up to Orlando this weekend so I didn't have a comp to get on.

On Friday before I left to Orlando I got my last week of Week 2 in. Was a great workout, even though I was pretty exhausted when I was done. I was already eager to get to Week 3, since we get to start using the Resistant Bands.

Let me tell you for me the weekend is the hardest two days to keep in sync with for my diet. The problem is that during the weekend I have a bad habit of just sleeping till let say the earliest I would get up is 12 noon? Lol so I already missed my breakfast as well I could have gotten lunch in also. Not sure how much this affect me.

On Sunday it was my HIIT and Abs Routine. As of now I'm still on Routine 1 for the abs I will advance to Routine 2 after week 4, and so on till week 8 and then Advance to Routine 3, and so on.

During Sunday when I was doing my HIIT I can tell that my stamina has gone up and I don't gasp for air like I used to. I'm really excited cause that means I been improving everyday so thats another motivation right there..

When Monday arrive I had to go to Walmart to get the resistant bands. They seem alright only thing is that it only comes with two tubes. As of now it seems like its not enough resistance and I may end up buying new ones.
I was impress with the workout and enjoyed it very much.. I'm really pumped up to keep going at it really want to see more results.

Today is Tuesday so mean some more ABS and HIIT, wooot woot I can't wait.

Thats all for now..

Back picture of me... lol was pealing from the weekend that went to the beach and got a nice sun burn ;)
My weight was about 165lbs and my bf was something around 20%. I havent weighted my self since then but I can see some changes on my body already so it has giving me more motivation to keep going.

Week 2, Day 6

Hello Everyone,

I'm really disappointed with my workout that I had last night. The reason been is that once I started doing the Ab Routine from Arnel's program and I got this massive headache which I'm not sure why it occur. I really wanted to continue but didn't want to cause any injury specially cause I wasn't sure why I had gotten the headache. After all it could have been due to the fact that I hadn't had breakfast and only had eaten for Lunch prior to my work out.

Even though with the headache I got my Ab Roller and did 3 sets of 10 going in a forward motion then going to the starting position and then going left back again and then right to work on my obliques, I feel some soreness so I must have gotten somewhat of a workout. Hopefully today I can finish the last day of Week 2 of resistant training.
Dive Bomber Pushups are a killer but we gotta get through it and keep going to Week 3 which people are saying is fun so I cant wait to start on it myself.

Also Last night after the semi-workout, I went to do groceries for the first time since i started working out to get the healthy food :).

I got a variety of things which include,
Chicken, Turkey, Tilapia, and Salmon.
for fruits i got some Apples, Bananas, and Strawberries
also got some yogurts for a night snack in case I get hungry and non salted penuts. Also got brown rice, broccoli, carrots, asparagus, and of course cant forget the eggs.
As for cereal I found Kashi but as you know they are a bit expensive so I found another one that is Basic 4, I believe.

For todays Breakfast I had some Basic 4 Cereal with strawberries tasted delicious. After ate a banana and was on my way to work.

Also I bough some Flaxseed Oil and I'm looking to buy some Multi-Vitamins which I found some at BJ's but the ones that were there mentioned for Seniors or for people over 50 which I'm not sure if it matter but I didn't get them for that reason.
Within this following week I'm going purchase the multi-vitamins and Whey Protein from either www.bodybuilding.com or a local store where ever it cost less haha :)

Thats all for now.

Week 2 Day 5, HIIT and Abs

Hello Everyone,

Since most people at http://www.iwantsixpackabs.com/6packattack.html is doing their own blog i though I should do one of my own and track my progress.

Back in mid august i found the website www.iwantsixpackabs.com through Metacafe.com where I saw one of Arnel's video in his 16 week journey. I did some reading and after a couple mins of surfing his website i sign up and watch all of his video to see what it was all about. It completely blew my mind.

On August 27th, 2007 was when I started my journey towards my 6 pack abs. I believe during that week i received an email from Arnel letting everyone know of this Six Pack Challenge. Which led me to http://www.iwantsixpackabs.com/6packattack.html. Since I had already started did not know if i really wanted to join and restart on Sept 3, 2007. But like most other decided to join the challenge for more motivation and take the first week as "practice" which was amazing.

When I started on Sept 3, 2007 for the challenge I already felt a bit more stronger than the previous week, which gave me more motivation.

My schedule is a follow.

M-W-F = Resistance Training
and
S-T-TH = abs Routine and HIIT
and
Saturday is my day off.

As of today its Thursday Sept. 13, 2007 which means im already mid through Week 2. Today is Abs and HIIT which I'm looking forward to it. Really like working out on my abs.. I CANT WAIT TILL THEY SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really got to work hard and feel the burn, like the saying goes "PAIN IS WEAKNESS LEAVING THE BODY" i got to burned that into my mind so I don't quit and finish.

Well thats all for now, Ill keep you guys updated with pics that i will upload later today or tomorrow.
